bad hair day

today was a bad hair day to say the least!

Hi all - I went to work this am thinking that my hair was flyy and well need I say it - IT was AWFUL! To start with I woke up thinking "I will wash my hair and try this Miss Jessies Curly Pudding that so many rave about".  It works beautifully in my daughters hair. On me.. UGLY is a understatement. I hate the way it feels and it just clumps on my hair and I have parts that are frizzed (and some is beautiful) while the back - I am surprised I wasnt attacked by squirrels.  The small part that looks good is directly in the front of my head and its a small part at that.  Need I say I was late for work and had bad hair.  I will never try that product again on my hair.

I do love Kinky Curly and EcoStyler.  They both keep my hair soft and manageable.  The product that surprised me and does work and feels nice is Catwalk. But the Miss Jessies.. I must give a 2 thumbs down...
I would show you a picture but that would be a real laugh so TRUST - its bad.

  1. Hi June, you should have told me about this blog a long time ago. Needless to say, I could write a book about my natural hair. It's been natural for about ten years or so...even under the weaves that I used to wear.
But my main comment is that I agree with you about Miss Jessie's. I died to get it. Drove all the way to Woodbridge mall before they closed one night just to get it. I hate it, both the stretching creme and the curly pudding. It was hard sticky and it broke my hair off. I know natural hair has less elasticity and will break, but mine has shortened to about half of it's original length and I'm not sure why.
    Well ttyl,
    Pamela
